The first things to configure after your first login, to get CloudPOS working for your business.
These settings live under Settings and Banking. They apply whether or not you use the POS.
Open Settings → Business and confirm your business details:
Under Settings → General, set the regional formatting you need:
Under Settings → Sales, adjust the low-stock warning behaviour as needed (when the POS should warn that an item is running low).
Under Settings → Tax, verify the three default tax rates are present:
Under Settings → Payment Types, the defaults (Cash, Card, etc.) are correct for most businesses — review only if you need a custom method.
Go to Banking and Add bank account for each bank account you actually use. These are used to record payments and reconcile.
Only needed if you operate a POS till. You'll create a cashier, a terminal, assign them, set up printing, and prepare the product grid.
In User Management, add a new POS Cashier:
In POS Management, create a new POS terminal for the physical till (give it a name/code).
Once the terminal is created, Assign cashier — link the cashier from step 7 to this terminal.
Back in Edit POS (the terminal), select the receipt printer you created in step 10.
Note the terminal's Device pairing code — it lets a dedicated POS device log in directly using the POS ID + PIN (no full email/password login).
In POS Management → Edit POS Products, prepare the products shown on the till. Use Auto-Add to automatically create one category button per category and fill it with that category's products (from the products marked Show in POS).
